Project Idea (summary)

Long story short, my film opening is going to be set in a post-apocalyptic world. It will look deserted, among other things. It will surround a girl as the main character, going through harsh and limiting conditions with her best friend. The beginning of the opening will include a bunch of establishing shots and the characters walking around (scavenging). This so-called best friend will be affected and hurt in the opening. While the main character brings their best friend to a secluded setting in order to aid her, she gets a few flashbacks to how their world used to be…this lets us into their ongoing friendship. While panicking as her best friends fade away, the main character realizes she’s going to have to go through this journey alone. After the whole incident the girl has to leave her best friend and has a reflection moment where she gains inner strength and continues into a world that’s empty, secluded, and dangerous. What was once the world against them is now character v. world. Will she find other loyal people? Or will she have to face this corrupt world alone?
