Hello guys! As I have more recently noticed, time is never on my side. Therefore, one of the poorest qualities (that I need to put some work into) is time management.
Timeline
Week 1: (1/16-1/23)
- 3 blog posts
- Debate and think about which genre best fits me
- Answer: What genre?
Week 2: (1/26-2/1)
4 blog posts...
- Analyze film openings and end credit scenes within my chosen genre
- Analyze editing techniques and color grading for the chosen genre
Putting together a first draft...
- Start planning the overall movie plot!
- Start thinking about the script
- Decide storyline
Week 3: (2/2-2/8)
- Finish full film opening plan (#outline)
- Begin Script
- Create Storyboard!!!
- Scout for locations
- Find actors
- Get feedback from media classmates
Week 4: (2/9-2/15)
- 4 blog posts
- Start planning production elements
- Character Development
- Audio (FOLEY only if needed)
- Mise-en-scène
-Begin recording of voice-over and plan overall layout of the music and voice-over in an editing platform
-PLAN OUT FILMING SCHEDULE!!!
Week 5: (2/16-2/22)
- Production Posts + four blog posts
- BEGIN FILMING
- Choose a font
- Obtain and create a company logo
Week 6: (2/23-3/1)
- Finish up filming
- START editing
-Color grading?
- Begin CCR research
Week 7: (3/2-3/8)
- Finish CCR questions
- Finish Editing
- Four blog posts
Week 8: (3/9-3/17)
- Creative Critical Reflection
+ create the actual reflection
+ edit/review CCR
- Work on post production blogs (4 posts)
- Submit/Post final project + CCR
